Visit with the Bendavid Family

Many of our friends now have young children, but it was an extra special treat to visit our friends, the Bendavid family. Not only are they old friends of Peter's (and now of mine), but their daughter Dalia is almost the exactly the same age as Aviva.

Dalia demonstrated that she is already good at sharing. She's got Aviva's pacifier in the photo below, while Eran offers Aviva a toy that she doesn't yet have at home: a ball! (Even better, Dalia later would use the pacifier while it was still attached to Aviva's bib.)

Caption for photo below:
Aviva: Hey! That's my pacifier.
Dalia: Who, me?

Their four-year old daughter, Alma, was very patient while all of the adults giggled at the babies' antics.

Alma applied some make-believe face paint to her mother, while Dalia continued to beam her sunny smile.

Before our walk, Alma showed off her serious face and the excellent heart that her mama had painted on her face.

Here are the two babies, again, smiling about...who knows?

It was so wonderful to see these good friends, and we hope to see them again very soon. Cape Town, anyone?
