We wanted to take advantage of the last few hours of sunlight, so we quickly headed out for a walk.
Our friends had already purchased a huge barracuda from some local fishermen. Iulian and Louisa set about cleaning it and cutting it to fit the grill.
You can't see it in the photo below, but we had the fish with a spicy sauce made of hot chili peppers, garlic, cilantro, and olive oil. Yum!
After a pretty rough night (Aviva apparently was too excited to sleep!) Aviva and Mira relaxed for a while before breakfast.
Birgit entertained Aviva by making funny faces.
The rain was practically coming down horizontally on Friday morning, but the afternoon skies cleared up enough for us to walk down the beach to Zavora Lodge.
We really were hoping for sunshine on Saturday...
