In mid-March, we met our very good friends, Jessi and Uri (plus Asher and Gabriel, of course!) in Dullstroom, which was about 2.5 hours from Mbabane (by car.)
We stayed at the Dunkeld Country Estate, which was lovely. Our cottages were right next to each other.
In the morning, we enjoyed the sunshine (and Franklin chewed on our room key.)
Some horses live on the property and visited our yard (and used it as a toilet.)
Dullstroom was a great little getaway, especially for Anvil Brewery, and the delightful restaurant, Mrs. Simpsons. When we went shopping for local trout products and cheeses, we met a shopkeeper who had just foraged these amazing porcini mushrooms, which we sautéed in garlic and butter.

We visited the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre, which apparently Aviva did not love.
