Wednesday in NYC: Michael, Kirsten and family

Wednesday morning we had breakfast with Michael Wertheim at Snack Taverna, a very cute Greek restaurant in the West Village. I had a delicious goat cheese, red pepper, and arugula omelet. It was served with some spicy sausage and potatoes, thick white toast with apple butter and homemade plum jam. Very yummy.

After lunch we headed over to Brooklyn to visit Kirsten and her newest addition, Jackson! Jackson was born on March 13, so he was only a few days old when we saw him.

Since we arrived in the US, we couldn't stop saying how tiny Aviva seemed, compared to her cousin Seamus, but then compared to baby Jackson, she seemed gigantic.

Here's Kirsten with both of her sons (Owen is the older one.)

Owen is hiding in the background of this one, too!

That day there was another first for Aviva: taking the subway! She made lots of friends on the train, and so far, loves it as much as her mother does.
