From our trip here last June, we already expected South Africa to be very Californian. At least superficially - sunshine, highways, agriculture - it is.
After a 4 hour drive to Mbabane (including a 30 minute stop at the border), we had arrived! I will post more photos in the days to come, but for now, here are a couple of the view from our back porch.
There was a terrific thunderstorm on our first night:
And the following morning, thanks to jet lag, I was awake to catch the fog over the hills in the distance.
