Fourth of July Parties

Lest you think all we do is travel, we want to include some posts from Swaziland. In contrast to our Sundays in Liberia - grilled fish and cold beers on the beach - now we sometimes go to parties where there are lots of cake and sweets and face paint!

My friend, Jinty, had a great party for her son Leo's 3rd birthday:

And later that day, we went to a barbecue (or braai, in local parlance), at some other friends' home. There were only a few little ones there, including our friend, Natalie, and her daughter, Tessa:
